The prices of grams moved up on the wholesale grain market on Saturday owing to strong demand, dealers said. On the grams side, grams Australia No 1 gained Rs 250 to Rs 8550, grams Dall Australia No 2 picked up Rs 200 to Rs 9200, grams 50x50 followed same pattern, rising Rs 150 to Rs 8750, yellow peas Russia rose by Rs Rs 150 to Rs 4400 and yellow peas Dall Russia also picked up Rs 300 to Rs 5000, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type was unchanged at Rs 2050 while the best quality was down by Rs 25 to Rs 2100, other items maintained last levels, they said. Prices were unchanged on the cereals and rice sides, they said.
