The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday allowed the meeting of former Inspector Chand Khan Niazi, one of the prime accused in Arshad Pappu murder case, with the family members. Niazi is currently in the preventive detention of Rangers over his alleged involvement in offences that comes within the ambit of Anti-Terrorism Act. The family of Niazi filed the petition seeking the meeting of Niazi. After hearing the arguments from both sides, the SHC bench directed authorities concerned to arrange Niazi's meeting with family members as per jail manual and disposed of the petition.
