Peshawar Region: Inter-District Games to start from April 15

Peshawar Region Inter-District Male and Female Games will be held from April 15-17, 2016 here at three different venues, Deputy Secretary Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Adil Saeed Safi said while addressing a press conference here on Friday. Flanked by Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Miss Rashida Ghaznavi and Assistant Director Youth Arshad Hussain, Adil Saeed Safi disclosed that 15 male and 13 female disciplines at three different venues - Hayatabad Sports Complex, BISE Peshawar Sports Complex and Qayyum Sports Complex.
He said arrangement in this connection have already been kicked off at different venues. He said more than a 432 male and female will vie for the top honour in 15 male and 13 female games. He said with the holding of Peshawar Region the first phase of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Games at Inter-Region level would be completed in which so far more than 6000 players took part. He disclosed that soon after completion of the first phase at Inter-District level, Games at Inter-Region would be organized with the names of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Under-23 Games in last week of April this year.
