Kharif & Rabi crops: all deputy commissioners asked to submit report of recoveries in two days

Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Qazi Shahid Pervez has directed all deputy commissioners to submit a detail report of the recoveries of five years of Kharif and Rabi crops from their respective districts with the help of irrigation department within two days. He said the report would be forwarded to the Sindh Board of Revenue for further action.
He was presiding over a meeting at Shahbaz building with all deputy commissioners on Monday. The divisional commissioner asked to take stern action for the recovery of remaining recoveries so that a rise in government income could be ensured. The divisional commissioner also directed that all required arrangements before positional time should be completed keeping into consideration the expected rain and flood so that the masses could be saved for monsoon rain and flood losses. The commissioner directed the concerned officers to make effective measures to shift the inhabitants of Kachi Abadi to safe place before the expected flood and arrangements of food and water and health facilities there. He also directed the deputy commissioners to set up heat stroke centres in hospitals and the victims of the heat stroke should be treated immediately.
He asked the Hesco administrations not to carry out loadshedding in day time especially during the hot day. Earlier, while presiding a meeting with Regional Transport Authority Hyderabad officials, the commissioner said that all deputy commissioners must inspect the public transportation in their respective areas and take strict action of the violators. While expressing his displeasure on the performances on divisional commissioner's departments, he said all commissioners should activate their anti-narcotics forces in their districts and inform about the narcotics harmful impact through the media.
