The country's total liquid foreign exchange reserves fell by $2.2 million during last week. According to State Bank of Pakistan's (SBP) weekly report issued Thursday, the country's total liquid reserves declined to $20.788 billion as on April 29, 2016 compared to $20.790 billion on April 22, 2016. During the week under review, the SBP's liquid foreign exchange reserves decreased by $84 million to $15.905 billion compared to $15.989 billion the previous week. However, reserves held by banks surged by $81.8 million to $4.883 billion at the end of last week up from $4.801 billion a week earlier.
