Upward trend seen on grain market

A rising trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on wholesale grain market on Saturday, dealers said. On the cereals side, Barley Sindh and Mardan gained Rs 150 to Rs 3150, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type picked up by Rs 15 to Rs 3325 and the best quality was higher by Rs 20 to Rs 3400, they said. On the seed sector, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh low type was unchanged at Rs 2050 while the fine type gained Rs 50 to Rs 2150, they said. Rates were unchanged on the grams sector, they said.
