Clarification

With reference to a news item that appeared in a section of press yesterday, Wamiq A. Zuberi of Business Recorder and his wife Rukhsana Zuberi (not former Senator Rukhsana Zuberi who was wrongly mentioned in that news item as his wife) have clarified that they say with a measure of confidence that they made an investment, however insignificantly meagre, in a company in the 1990s which subsequently came to naught. In a statement, they said their investment was fully compliant with the applicable laws and that they have not had any more dealings of whatever nature with that company in the last 20 years.
