Bid to smuggle foreign currency: ASF nabs MPA Ghaibi Chandio's brother

The Airport Security Force (ASF) on Thursday foiled an attempt to smuggle foreign currency at Jinnah International Airport Karachi and arrested the accused on the spot. According to ASF spokesman, the force has recovered 100,000 dirhams from the accused Nawabzada Rehan Chandio, who is the brother of Member Sindh Provincial Assembly (MPA) Ghaibi Khan Chandio. Accused Rehan Chandio wanted to smuggle the seized amount to Dubai as the flight was ready to fly. According to law, US $10,000 or equivalent currency has been allowed to take abroad.
