The Sindh High Court, Sukkur bench and Circuit Courts at Hyderabad and Larkana will remain closed for civil business due to summer vacations from 6 June to 6 August. The courts will re-open on 8 August after the summer vacation, 7 August being a holiday, said a statement on Friday.
The Court and Office of SHC Karachi, Sukkur bench and Circuit Courts at Hyderabad and Larkana will remain open Monday to Thursday between 9:30am to 11am. Court sitting timings will be from 11am to 11:30am with recess from 11:30am to 1pm. Court sitting timings for Friday's will be from 9:30am to 11:30am without recess, while Saturday's will be Judgement-writing day as notified. Office Timings will be from 9am to 4pm and on Friday's between 9 am to 1pm.
During the summer vacation period, petitions will be received daily on all working days as usual. All such petitions as well as other miscellaneous petitions that can not be disposed off during the vacation period, will be heard on re-opening of the courts after the summer vacations.
