PIA operates 297 flights for Umra in six months

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Wednesday claimed to have operated 297 extra sections for Umra in addition to its routine scheduled flights. According to PIA official, around 89,634 passengers have travelled on these special flights. He said that PIA had uplifted 63,422 passengers through 188 extra sections for Umra along with its routine flights in last corresponding period. He said that total number of passengers travelling during last six months on PIA's scheduled flights as well as special flights for Umra was 207,089 as against 124,031 passengers travelled during preceding period.
