LONDON: BP bid again for Nigerian cargoes on Friday, willing to pay more than it did on Thursday, while traders in the Angolan market were awaiting the new loading programmes.
NIGERIA
* Bonga and Forcados: BP bid these grades at dated Brent plus $1.65 and $1.70 via the Platts system, a trader said, up 5-10 cents from levels reported on Thursday.
* BP has been an active bidder and buyer of Nigerian grades in the Platts window in the last two weeks, a relatively unusual development in the West African market.
ANGOLA
* Seven cargoes remain from the October programme, a trader said, fewer than reported on Thursday, and the November loading schedule is due on Monday.
