Arrangements of Yom-e-Ali (RA) reviewed

Commissioner of Karachi, Aijaz Ahmed Khan on Saturday presided over a meeting and reviewed arrangements for Yom-e-Ali (R.A) on 21st Ramazan. The meeting decided to make foolproof security around Imam Bargahs, Mosques, and for Majalis and processions, said a statement. The meeting also decided to make special arrangements for cleanliness, installation of street lights and uninterrupted supply of power on the routes of processions.
It was also decided that uninterrupted water supply will be ensured at Mosques and Imam Bargahs. The meeting was attended by AIG- Karachi, Mushtaq Mahar, Additional Commissioner (Karachi-I), Aslam Khoso, religious scholars, religious leaders, representatives of Rangers, Police and other concerned officials. During the meeting, authorities of local government departments, were directed to remain in touch and coordinate with organizers of Majalis and procession.
