Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high level meeting here Saturday which reviewed the matters regarding the project of Pakistan Kidney & Liver Transplant Institute and Research Center. Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister said that setting up of the institution will result in availability of latest medical facilities to kidney and liver patients.
He said that Pakistan Kidney & Liver Transplant Institute and Research Center is a unique project of the country and will be a milestone in the provision of quality healthcare facilities to the patients. Shahbaz Sharif directed that immediate measures should be taken for the selection of human resource for this important project while a comprehensive plan is presented with regard to machinery, equipments, civil works and other matters.
He further directed that all out resources should be utilized for completion of the project within stipulated period. He said that commitment and hard work will have to be displayed for completion of the project within timeframe while no compromise will be made on the standard of the project.
