Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif termed human resource management information system as an important progress with regard to improvement in police system during a meeting held regarding reforms in police system through utilisation of modern technology. He said that the steps being taken by using information technology for reforms in police system and change in thana culture will yield positive results.
He described completion of the programme of computerising record of Punjab police force as a historic achievement and said that with the completion of this programme, all information regarding police officers especially past record will be obtained only by pressing a button. This will help field posting of police, he added.-PR
