The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to probe target killer Zafar Khan, who had been arrested from Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) headquarters Nine Zero in Karachi, has completed its report. According to JIT report, target killer Zafar Khan has confessed killing more than 20 persons during interrogation. The JIT report further revealed that accused Zafar Khan opened fire on civilians and police officers in different parts of Karachi from 1994 to 1999.
He also opened fire on police check posts in various localities of the city with the help of three other accomplices. According to JIT report, Zafar Khan also confessed killing of a DSP. It was further revealed in the report that accused Zafar Khan set ablaze several vehicles during a strike call in 1994.
