The Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Information Moula Bux Chandio while paying tributes to the services of iconic social worker Abdul Sattar Edhi has said that he had served the humanity without any discrimination. The support of poor, helpless and needy persons as well as paying attention to orphans and unclaimed children are the only aim of the renowned social worker who left millions of the people of the country to mourn his death, the Advisor said while speaking as a chief guest at a condolence reference held here on Saturday at the Hyderabad Press Club.
He said that the country needs the persons like Abdul Sattar Edhi who continue his mission and serve the humanity irrespective of religion, colour, creed and caste. Abdul Sattar Edhi always remembered in the hearts of millions of people, he said and added that continuation of his mission is only the way to pay homage to him.
Among others, the Coordinator Sindh Information Advisor Barkat Babbar, President Hyderabad Press Club Waseem Khan, General Secretary Khalid Chandio, senior journalist Ali Hassan, Khalid Khokhar, PPP leaders Fayyas Shah, Saghir Qureshi, Irfan Gul Magsi, Pasha Qazi, Mir Fateh Talpur and Ali Muhammad Sehto also addressed the condolence reference and paid glowing tributes to the services of Abdul Sattar Edhi.
