Abdul Rauf Alam, President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), ECO-CCI and D-8 CCI, has condemned attempted coup by a small group of Turk Army to topple the democratic government of Turkey and said that Turkey is a fast growing economy of Muslim world and playing positive role in the integration of economies of the nations of two continents. He said that Turkey is also an important member country of ECO region and D-8 Group where it plays a leading role.
He further said that people of Pakistan, particularly the business community always stand with its Turkish brothers in any kind of crisis. Rauf Alam also appreciated the passion and bravery of Turkish people, who have failed the intentions of rebels and their objectives and saved the democracy. He expressed solidarity with Turkish people. He also expressed profound grief with his Turkish counterpart - TOBB over the loss of precious lives in this incident and prayed for quick recovery of injured people.-PR
