Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that bloodshed of unarmed citizens in occupied Kashmir by Indian forces is highly condemnable and the just struggle of Kashmiri people cannot be suppressed with the use of force. He said that India is violating basic human rights by depriving Kashmiris of their right of self-determination.
The Chief Minister saluted the brave people of Kashmir who have embraced martyrdom and said that India cannot crush the struggle of Kashmiri people for freedom. In his message in connection with Black Day against Indian aggression in occupied Kashmir, Shahbaz Sharif said that India cannot stifle the spirit of independence of Kashmiris through brutal force and sacrifices of Kashmiri martyrs will not go to waste. He said that Kashmiris cannot be denied their basic right of self determination through suppressive tactics.
He said that a lasting peace cannot be ensured in the region without solution of Kashmir problem in the light of UN resolutions and the aspirations of Kashmiri people. The Chief Minister said that Pakistan has multidimensional relationship with Kashmir and Muslim League-N government has fully raised Kashmir issue on all forums during its every tenure. He said that Pakistan will continue its moral, diplomatic and political support to Kashmiri people. Shahbaz Sharif said that world community should take notice of Indian aggression and violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir.
