Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Monday expressed his unawareness over the replacement of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and reshuffling of provincial Cabinet. While talking to media men, Opposition Leader said that he is unaware of any development in PPP's provincial government but he came to know through media that Finance Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah is going to replace Syed Qaim Ali Shah as a new Chief Minister.
"The PPP leadership did not consult me over a change in Sindh Chief Ministership. However, I came to know through media that Murad Ali Shah will be elected new Chief Minster. I hope that Murad Ali Shah will improve the governance of the Sindh province," he said while responding to a question. Answering another question, he said that the objection of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on the names approved by the Parliamentary Committee for appointment of the members of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is baseless. He said he had taken senior member of PTI Shah Mahmood Qureshi into confidence over the name of former Justice Altaf Ibrahim Qureshi, however, the PTI had raised objection over the name of former Justice Tariq Khosa due to him being a worker of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
