Lean business on grain market

Thin trade activity was seen on the wholesale grain market on Thursday due to little interest among main participants, dealers said. On the cereals side, wheat new Bardan drifted lower by Rs 20 to Rs 3250, other commodities maintained overnight levels, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new shed Rs 50 to Rs 1900 and Rs 1950, they added. On the rice side, Irri-6 Sindh were lower by Rs 50 to Rs 3475 and Rs 3550, they said. On the Grams side, prices were unmoved due to balanced demand and supply position, they said.
