Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad, Moatsim Abbasi, directed all officers concerned of the district to chalk out their programs to celebrate 69th Independence Day of Pakistan in befitting manner so that all arrangements in the regard could be finalised in co-ordination.
Presiding over a meeting here on Thursday to review arrangements for the Independence Day celebrations, the DC informed that main event of the 14th August would be held at former district Nazim secretariat Hyderabad where sirens would be played at 7:55, national flag would be hoisted followed by recitation of national anthem. The event would be participated by divisional and district officials of the government departments and heads of different departments as well as prominent personalities of the city.
