KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Friday at 21,486.40 points with a negative change of -32.46 and volume of 92,135,700 shares. High and Low were 21,610.29 and 21,440.34 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 8 were up, 22 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 145,910,280 shares. Total companies traded were 372 of which 177 were positive, 178 were negative and 17 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 33,276,000 shares. It was followed by Chemicals with a total traded volume of 13,709,120 shares.
