Cash basis bids for hard red winter wheat were unchanged in the southern US Plains on Tuesday as supplies remained ample in the wake of the harvest, grain merchants said. Protein premiums for wheat shipped to and through Kansas City were also flat. K.C. September HRW wheat futures were narrowly higher, but trailing gains seen in Chicago Board of Trade and MGEX spring wheat futures.
