Speakers at a seminar while declaring Kashmir as a defence line of Pakistan have urged the government to highlight the Indian atrocities against Kashmiri people at all the international forums. Speaking at a seminar titled "Kashmir The Defence Line of Pakistan", jointly organised by International Lobbying Group Youth Forum For Kashmir (YFK) in collaboration with National University of Modern Languages (NUML) on Pakistan Defence Day, the speakers paid rich tributes to the martyrs of September 6, 1965 War and highlighted the post Burhan Wani situation in India-held Kashmir.

We should teach our children who is our friend and who is our foe. Today, we are not any party but a Pakistani first. As a Pakistani it's our duty to stand up for our brothers and sisters in Kashmir who are suffering the brutalities of Indian Army.
Altaf Hussain Wani, Senior Kashmiri Hurriyet leader said that the political parties of Pakistan should come out on roads in favour of Kashmiri people; this is the time when every other issue is secondary. People of Kashmir are doing their part Pakistan has to play its role as an advocate effectively.
Ahmed Quraishi, Executive Director YFK-International Kashmir Lobby Group said that Kashmir is the Defence Line of Pakistan. When India has to show its aggressive designs towards Pakistan, India starts to show them in Kashmir valley through barbaric acts of killings and other violations. Major General Syed Usman Shah (Retd), HoD Governance and Public Policy Dept NUML said that our hope is youth, mistakes done in past shouldn't impact our future.
