KARACHI: At least ten people have been killed in a fresh spate of violence in the city during the last 24 hours, the media reported on Tuesday.
According to media reports, three people killed late Monday included Member of Balochistan Assembly Mir Sahibzada Bakhtiar Khan Domki's wife, daughter and their driver, who were gunned down by unknown assailants at the Gizri bridge in Clifton.
A 40-year-old retired captain doctor was killed in Malir Halt on Tuesday morning, police sources said.
Separately, three activists of a political party were gunned down in North Karachi.
In another incident, Taseer Abbas, the 25-year-old manager of a fast food outlet, was shot dead in the FB Area late on Monday.
Further, two people including a woman were shot dead at a local franchise in North Nazimabad.
Police and Rangers personnel are patrolling the affected areas.
