A well attended meeting of regional core committee of United Business Group (UBG) Sindh was held at the residence of Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig to discuss upcoming election of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI). The meeting was presided over by Senior Vice President of FPCCI Shaikh Khalid Tawab, in which the matter of resignations of some of UBG members also came under discussion.
The core committee members differed consideration of resignations of some of its members from the group till next meeting to give time to outgoing members to reconsider their decision. The core committee members preyed performance of President FPCCI Abdul Rauf Alam and SVP of FPCCI Shaikh Khalid Tawab. They also decided not to make comments on opposition statements.
Those who attended the meeting include S M Muneer, Zubair Tufail, Gulzar Feroz, Abdul Sami Khan, Malik Khuda Bakhsh, Mian Arshad Farooq, Zulfiqar Shaikh, Waseem Vohra, Nasir Sheikh, Hafiz Bilal, Shakeel Ahmed, Mumtaz Shaikh, Rizwana Shahid, Nasir Allauddin, Dawood Osman, Zubair Chaya, Shakeel Ahmed, Munere Sultan and others.
