PML-Q has slammed the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and warned of giving a befitting reply in case any adventure by the Indian authorities. A consultative meeting of the party was held under the chairmanship of PML-Q Chief Chaudhry Shujat Hussain, here on Tuesday. The meeting discussed the situation in Kashmir and Indian threats.
Reorganisation of the PML-Q, party elections and the country's political situation were discussed in the meeting. It was decided that Chaudhry Parvez Elahi will undertake extensive tour of all districts beginning from Rawalpindi division while reorganisation of the party at the district level will be completed. Furthermore, party elections at the district and provincial levels will be completed expeditiously.
While addressing the meeting, Chaudhry Shujat Hussain slammed the Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir. Pakistani nation would not tolerate any aggression and give a befitting reply to any anti-Pakistan measure, he added. "Those talking about stopping our water should not forget that Pakistani nation will shut their breathing," he warned. Among others, the meeting was attended by Tariq Bashir Cheema MNA, Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, Muhammad Basharat Raja, Moonis Elahi and Chaudhry Shafat Hussain.
Appreciating active and full interest of the leaders and workers in the reorganisation of PML-Q, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that we are proud of our colleagues who remained steadfast with the party despite false cases, discriminative treatment and bad circumstances. "We believe in service to people of the country and making efforts to change the fate of the people. The party leaders apprised the meeting about party reorganisation and other activities in their respective areas.
