Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan, Senator Sirajul Haq, has said that no foreign agenda would work in Pakistan in the future nor there would be martial law. According to media cell of Jamaat-e-Islami-Lahore while addressing a press conference at Aza Khel, Naushera on Tuesday, he declared that the solution of the problems facing the nation lay in the enforcement of the Islamic order. He said that the JI Ijtema at the spot on October 22 and 23 would be historic and would be harbinger of a change in the politics of the tribal areas.
Sirajul Haq said that the nation was being kept away from the goal for which the Quaid e Azam had achieved this country. He said that for the last 70 years, the country had been ruled under an international agenda. When the nation was tired of one group of the rich people, the other agent was brought forth.
He said the nation had also experienced martial law for 37 years which had led to the fall of East Pakistan. As such, he said, there was no option before the nation except the enforcement of the Islamic order. He said the JI would bring about a change in the country through constitutional, democratic process. Referring to the PTI's planned sit-it in Islamabad, Sirajul Haq said that public meetings and processions was the right of every political party.
However, he said that the third force would not be allowed to grab power this time as the masses desired peaceful change. He said the US loyalists or those habitual of getting into power through the back door should know that their tricks would not work this time.
He said the JI would improve the lot of the masses through the power of vote Allah's blessings. "We want a system in which each and every poor man gets all the facilities being enjoyed by the rich", he added. He was confident that the JI Ijtema at Aza Khel would be historic gathering and for the first time, the tribal women would join the efforts for the enforcement of the Islamic order.
