Here’s what to expect from ‘Made by Google’ event today
In the world of tech, October is that time of the year when Google hosts its major event, unveiling new phones and more. Once again, Google is set to host its massive event within a few hours.
Tech giant Google is set to hold its big ‘#MadeByGoogle’ event today, October 9, in New York at 11.am (ET). Curious people are all excited to witness new innovations from the tech giant. Here are some of the gadgets Google might unveil today.
Google Pixel 3 and Pixel XL
Google is set to launch its most anticipated smartphones, Pixel 3 and Pixel XL. Talking about design, Pixel 3 XL will come in with a notch and a ‘chin’, whereas the Pixel 3 will be notch-free with top and bottom bezels. Leaks suggest that both the phones will come in with a single rear camera, unlike much smartphones being introduced these days, wrote CNET.
Google Pixel Slate
Though the Pixel smartphones will be the showstoppers of the show, Google’s event will be more than phones. It is rumored to introduce its Chrome OS tablet, called Pixel Slate, at the event, a follow-up to its last year’s Pixelbook Chromebook. The tablet will run on Chrome OS instead of Android and is also rumored to be able to double as a laptop.
Google Home Hub
As per earlier leaks, Google Home Hub will be Google’s smart speakers with a smart display, competing with Amazon Echo, as per Wired.
Other rumored stuff
Apart from these things, Google is also expected to announce the headphones, Pixel Buds 2. Also, as to some people’s disappointment, Google won’t be introducing Pixel Watch smartwatch this year. Also, there might be updated Chromecast media server, and new Google Pixelbook apart from Pixel Slate.
All in all, these all gadgets are just based on rumors and expectations. It’s just a matter of hours when Google will confirm if these speculations are true or not.
