Qatari Defence Minister meets CoAS

Minister of State for Defence Affairs Qatar, Dr Khalid Bin Muhammad Al Attiyah, on Thursday called on Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Raheel Sharif at General Headquarters. Matters of mutual interest including defence and security cooperation came under discussion during the meeting, news release of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated here.
The visiting dignitary acknowledged Pakistan's successes in fight against terrorism and efforts for regional peace and stability. Earlier on arrival at the GHQ, Defence Minister Qatar, laid wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented guard of honour to the visiting dignitary.
