Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi, Vice chairman, All Pakistan Customs Agents Association (APCAA), President, Frontier Customs Agents Group (FCAG) and Vice chairman, FPCCI standing committee on Customs' Agents has been elected unopposed senior vice president (SVP) of Pakistan Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PAJCCI).
The elections were held in the General Body Meeting (GBM) held at the head office of PAJCCI. On this occasion, Mohammad Zubair Motiwala was unanimously elected as president, while Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi as senior vice president (SVP). Similarly, Abdul Qayyum Kakar was elected vice president while Imtiaz Ahmad Ali, Junaid Ismail Mukda, Niaz Mohammad and Javed Akhtar Bhatti were unanimously elected as directors.
Zia-ul-Haq Sarhadi has forty years long experience of customs clearing and forwarding, import/export and Afghan transit trade. Addressing GBM, he expressed gratitude to the members of the joint chamber and business community of the whole country. He pledged that he would make utmost efforts to come up to the expectations of the business community.
