Date for filing of returns/statements extended

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended date for filing of income tax returns/statements upto November 15 for Tax Year 2016. According to an income tax circular issued by the FBR here on Monday, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, the FBR has extended the date of filling of Returns/Statements for the Tax Year 2016.
The date of filing of returns of total income/statements of final taxation of companies whose returns were due on 30th September 2016 and extended up to 31st October, 2016 has been further extended upto 15th November, 2016.
