Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has felicitated head of Dunya Media Group, Mian Aamir Mehmood on his election as Chairman Pakistan Broadcasting Association (PBA). He has congratulated Doraid Qureshi on his election as Senior Vice Chairman, Mir Ibrahim Rehman as Vice Chairman, Shakeel Masood as Secretary General, Muhammad Aslam as Joint Secretary and Arshad Zubairi as Finance Secretary.
In a felicitation message to newly elected office-bearers of Pakistan Broadcasting Association, Shahbaz Sharif said that media industry of Pakistan has made tremendous progress in a very short period and the role of media is of great importance in present circumstances. The chief minister expressed the hope that newly-elected office-bearers will play their active role in resolution of problems of media industry and Mian Aamir Mehmood will play his role for making Pakistan Broadcasting Association more effective and strong organisation.
