MQM Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar on Wednesday felicitated Rauf Siddiqui after his release from jail and hoped that Karachi mayor Wasim Akhtar and other detained leaders, and workers would also be freed soon. "We felicitate Rauf Siddiqui on his release. The Mayor of Karachi, Sheraz Wahid, Kunwar Naveed, Shahid Pasha, Qamar Mansoor and other innocent workers will be released soon," Dr Sattar told the media in Karachi, where hundreds of MQM workers greeted Rauf Siddiqui.
"We have every right to open our offices and take part in political activities," "We don't want to look back now and speed up the pace of peace and prosperity," he said. The MQM-P leader expressed complete faith in courts.
Speaking on this occasion, Rauf Siddiqui thanked his party, workers, journalists and others who prayed for his release.
