Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that Dr Asim Hussain was political prisoner and he would be released soon by the courts. Talking to media persons after visiting Dr Asim Hussain at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC), chief minister said that terrorism charges against Dr Asim were concocted and fabricated.
"Dr Asim has been granted bail in one case and I hoped he would be set free in other charges by the courts,' he said.
He said PPP always believed in supremacy of law and constitution.
He said that Sindh government was fully prepared to give protection to Chinese investors.
He expressed concerns over not convening the meeting of Council of Common Interest (CCI) by federal government for last three months.
On this occasion Advisor to CM on Information Moula Bux Chandio said that it was alarming for national security that networks of Indian agents had been arrested by Law Enforcement Agencies.
Due to present scenario the demand of Chairman Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari regarding permanent Foreign Minister was totally correct. Indian network, which spread across Pakistan and creating law and order situation almost daily basis in different provinces of Pakistan was deteriorating the economy of Pakistan, he added.
