PAT moves LHC against inquiry committee's chairman

The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has moved the Lahore High Court (LHC) against the appointment of former justice Aamer Raza Khan as chairman of an inquiry committee formed to investigate a news about a high-level meeting between the civil and military officials. PAT Deputy Secretary Advocate Ishtiaq Chaudhry alleged that the former judge who has been tasked to head the inquiry committee enjoys good relations with the PML-N leaders. He therefore believes that the inquiry cannot be held in a fair and transparent manner.
