The second joint working group meeting for Quadrilateral Co-operation and Co-ordination Mechanism (QCCM) in counter terrorism by Afghanistan-China-Pakistan-Tajikistan Armed Forces-Militaries was held in Beijing.
Chinese Ministry of Defence 's sources said here Saturday, that all the parties at the meeting unanimously agreed that as the terrorism has posed serious threats to the region and the QCCM member countries, it is necessary to conscientiously implement the important consensuses reached by the heads of state of the four countries on strengthening the anti-terrorism co-operation, constantly deepen the pragmatic co-operation under the QCCM, and continue to enhance the construction of the anti-terrorism capability and the exchange of anti-terrorism information, so as to jointly maintain the regional peace and stability.
Through candid and friendly consultation, the four-party working group has reached consensus on the text of the QCCM Agreement, which is scheduled to be signed by high-level military leaders of the four countries at the 2nd QCCM High Level Military Leaders' Meeting in 2017. The working group also discussed the possible QCCM co-operative projects in 2017, and agreed to actively co-ordinate and formulate implementation schemes of these specific co-operatives projects.
