Former interior minister Rehman Malik on Sunday said that the terrorist attack in Balochistan's Hub Tehsil is an attack on Pakistan and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
It should be noted that at least 65 people were killed while over 100 others were injured when a blast struck Shah Noorani shrine in Balochistan's Hub tehsil on Saturday evening.
The blast hit worshippers participating in a ceremony at the shrine of the Sufi saint Shah Noorani.
Speaking to media before boarding his flight to Dubai, Malik said, "The terrorist attack was a clear example of the administration and intelligence's failure."
He added, "Internal policies have left the country isolated on diplomatic level."
Malik claimed that Indian Premier Narendra Modi had said that he will teach Pakistan a lesson through Balochistan. He said that Modi should be held responsible for the attack.
"We have evidences that the terrorist attack was carried out by India," said Malik.
"An investigation cell has to be formed in order to determine the culprits behind the attack," he added.
The ex-interior minister said that terrorism would have declined if the National Action Plan (NAP) would have been implemented in its true sense. He called for an All-Parties Conference to review the implementation of the action plan.
He said, "Anti-state elements are using banned organisations against Pakistan's security.
He asked the federal government to take action against anti-state elements."
He added, "Action needs to be taken against terrorist organisations such as Daesh and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi."
He added, "Inappropriate language, used by federal ministers against Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, was condemnable."
He said, "The four demands laid by the People's Party chairman are the only solution to the country's political and security issues."
