The Sindh Home Department on Thursday imposed two-day ban on pillion riding with effect from November 20 and 21, a notification of the department said. According to the notification, the ban will be imposed due to the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), adding the Sindh police had requested the ban. However, the ban will not be applicable on women, children below the age of 12 years, senior citizens, journalists and employees of essential services, the notification further added.
