Akshay Kumar cancels ‘Housefull 4’ shoot after #MeToo claims against Sajid Khan
Supporting the women who have shared their stories about getting sexually harassed by director Sajid Khan, actor Akshay Kumar has asked the producers of ‘Housefull 4’ to cancel shooting till the allegations against the director are investigated.
“I will not work with any proven offenders and those who have been subjugated to harassment should be heard and given the justice they deserve,” Akshay wrote on his Twitter.

Saloni Chopra, who had tweeted her own account of being harassed by Sajid, has thanked Akshay Kumar for taking a tough stance against the director.
Its disturbing, the other all so similar accounts from women. I’m sorry I didn’t talk earlier. Thanks @mrsfunnybones @akshaykumar for taking abuse seriously. Evidently @SimplySajidK has chosen to deflect instead of apologize. I’m not surprised.

Director Sajid has also stepped down as the director of ‘Housefull 4’ after the sexual harassment charges against him. “In wake of the allegations against me and pressure being put on my family, I must take the moral responsibility of stepping down from my directorial post,” he tweeted.
