Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister announcement of the Federal Government about convening the decisive meeting on 9th National Finance Commission (NFC) Award before end of the current month and expressed the confidence that the announcement would be materialised in letter and in spirit, he maintained. He was chairing a meeting of the provincial working committee on NFC at Committee Room of the Finance Department in Civil Secretariat Peshawar.
The meeting besides other was attended by Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, member NFC, Ihtisham-ul-Haq, provincial consultant, Secretary Finance Ali Raza Bhutta and Deputy Secretary NFC Pervez Khan Sabat Khel. The meeting took stock of the till date preparations and measures of the Provincial Working Party on the NFC and termed it satisfactory in all respects. The meeting strongly demanded the federation to promptly announce date of the NFC meeting as well as provide its agenda and working paper to the provinces so that provincial governments had enough time for its preparation.
