Advocate General of Punjab Shakilur Rehman Khan on Wednesday told the Supreme Court that 90 percent children abducted from different parts of the province had been recovered. He submitted a report on progress made in the child-abduction cases. Earlier, Senior Civil Judge Mirpur Yousaf Haroon complained that his son was missing for many months.
On the court's query, a police officer from Rawalpindi said that practical steps were being taken for the recovery of the judge's son. He said the child would be recovered soon. The court had taken suo motu notice against the increasing incidents of child abduction in the province.
