Two robbers were killed and two others managed to escape after an encounter with police here on Wednesday. According to reports, the police on a tipoff chased and approached a four-member robber gang near Pattoki city of district Kasur. Upon sight of police party, the robbers started firing and tried to flee from the scene which led to an encounter.
In cross firing two robbers were killed while two others managed to escape from the scene. Arms and looted valuables were recovered from the possession of the robbers killed in the encounter and their bodies were moved to mortuary of local hospital for post mortem.
