Descon lift Corporate T20 Cup

Descon has lifted the Lahore Corporate T20 Cricket Cup after outplaying Meezan Bank in final played here, on Sunday. After winning the toss, Descon Captain Faheem Butt opted to bowl first. In allotted 20 overs, Meezan Bank could score 155 runs with Rizwan Akram scoring 36, M. Ashraf 32 and Rizwan Shafi 26. From Descon, Yasir Sial grabbed four wickets for 28, Imran Khan two wickets for 26 and Faheem Mukhtar Butt two wickets for 32.
In reply, Descon achieved the target in 19th over. Salman Sadiq played blasting inning of unbeaten 71 runs while Syed Mujahid Ali contributed 22 runs and Imran Khan scored 19. Salman Sadiq was declared man of the match. The tournament was organised by Corporate Supports Pakistan, under the supervision of Khawaja Saboor, Arsalan Ahmad and Ahmad.
