The annual elections of the Karachi Press Club (KPC) will be held on December 31. An announcement on Thursday said that some 1,000 council members of the KPC would exercise their right of vote. Meanwhile, a meeting of the election committee of the KPC was held on Thursday with its chairman, Professor Dr Tauseef Ahmed Khan, in the chair. It was decided that polling will be held on Saturday from nine AM to five PM without any break. There are three panels in the run for the post of president, vice-president, treasurer, joint-secretary and seven members of the governing body of the KPC.
