The Pak-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday launched Chinese language book titled "Let's learn Chinese together" at a ceremony held at its office. Higher Education Commission Chairman Professor Dr Nizamuddin was the chief guest of the book-launching ceremony that was presided over by the PCJCCI President Wang Zihai.
Head of Chinese Language Department Ms Nuzhat wrote the book under the supervision of Wang Zihai. Vice President University of South Asia Dr Iqbal Qureshi, PCJCCI Vice President Moazzam Ghurki and other official also attended the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, HEC Chairman Professor Dr Nizamuddin appreciated the PCJCCI endeavours for bridging up the language barrier and said that knowledge about the Chinese language is great contributor to the growing relations between China and Pakistan.
Addressing the ceremony, Wang Zihai said there were thousands of Pakistani students studying in Chinese institutions who were facing language barrier in their studies. "We have put all our sincere efforts in the process of making this publication effective," he added.
