The two-day annual conference on Advances in Cancer, Histopathology and Haematology will begin at Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar on Friday (today). The conference would inaugurate by Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan, during an opening ceremony, to be held at the university.
The conference will showcase the latest research in cancer, histopathology and haematology. According to the chief organiser of the event and Director Institute of IBMS, Professor Dr Jawad Ahmad, this conference will bring together researchers and clinicians to share ideas and develop collaborations between the stakeholders.
The meeting theme will be "Standardising treatment in developing countries". In the conference, 22 workshops will be held and more than 40 research papers will be presented by various well known and reputed researchers from across the country.
This meeting has been arranged for researchers, scientists and medical doctors. Speakers will come from all over the country including Aga Khan University Karachi, Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital Lahore and Lahore General Hospital Lahore.
