Activists of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) from North Waziristan Agency, have expressed great resentment over the discriminatory and unjust attitude of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra with them, and demanding the party central leadership to take immediate its notice, to end the growing sense of deprivation among ideological workers.
Addressing a news conference at press club here on Thursday, Senior Vice president of PML-N North Waziristan Agency, Liaqat Wazir said the ideological workers had rendered matchless sacrifices and played important role in strengthening the party in the tribal region.
But, he said the incumbent Governor KP, didn't heed towards their issues. Flanked by the PML-N NWA President, Syed Ayub, Youth President Rafiq Dawar and others workers, he said that a conspiracy was being hatched to push the diehard and senior workers of the PML-N to wall.
He accused that the incumbent Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as main player in this regard. Wazir said that Iqbal Zafar Jhagra was appointed as Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to organise and strengthen the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially in Federally Administered Tribal Areas. But, he said doors of Governor House are being closed for Muslim leaguers, which he termed a conspiracy being hatched to create rift among party.
He mentioned that Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra had ignored the PML-N workers during his recent visit to the North Waziristan Agency.
PML-N Vice president said the Political Agent North Waziristan Agency, Kamran Afridi had invited to his 'blue-eyed' in meeting with Governor KP during opening of Pak-Afghan road, which was created great unrest among the workers and traders community of the tribal agency.
Wazir demanded of the Prime Minister and President of PML-N Mian Nawaz Sharif to take immediate notice injustice and mistakes of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Political Agent North Waziristan Agency, Kamran Afridi, to prevent the party from fragmentation in the tribal agency.
He warned that if the discrimination was continued with ideological workers, they would compel to take extreme steps and agitation against it.
