Former SBP governor Kassim Parekh laid to rest

Former governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Kassim Parekh was laid to rest in the Mewa Shah Graveyard on Friday. Earlier, his Namaz-e-Janaza was offered at the Jamia Masjid Bait-us-Salam, Defence Housing Authority (Phase-IV) after Friday prayers. A large number of people, including prominent bankers, friends and relatives of the deceased, attended the funeral ceremony. Soyem of the deceased will be held on Saturday (today) at the Jamia Masjid Bait-us-Salam, Defence Housing Authority (Phase-IV), between Asr and Maghrib.
