Pakistan's bed-wear export grew to $1.043 billion in the first six months of the current fiscal year, up by five percent, according to the official figures. Bed-wear export growth now stands at $46.492 million in July-December 2017 as compared to the commodity's export of $ million in July-December 2016, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics shows.
In term of volume, bed-wear export went up by nine percent or 13.913 metric tons to 172.988 metric tons in July-December 2017 from 159.075 metric tons in July-December 2016.
In December 2016, the country exported $168.155 million of bed-wear goods as compared to the goods export of $157.897 million in December 2015, up by $10.258 million or percent.
Bed-wear export volume posted an increase of six percent or 1466 metric tons to 27,453 metric tons in December 2016 from 25,987 metric tons in December 2015.
